On September 9th, Callum Murray released his first EP on the label Black Mirror Recordings, carrying the name Call to Arms. On this EP you will find 3 brand-new hard techno songs named Pollination, Legion and Halo. The first track (Pollination) is a very promising track, and was ranked #43 in the Traxsource’ techno top-100 charts on August 18th. The full EP, and all the individual tracks, are available for purchase on Traxsource and Beatport. Of course, you can also stream them on your favorite music streaming platform.
Contents of Call To Arms
The 3 tracks of this EP have dark and bass filled beats, with moody and melodic breakdowns, which make up the defining characteristics of this EP. Definitely one for the clubs! “Legion & Halo are meant for prime-time sets, when you want to see everybody’s hands in the air.”, is what Callum told us about his EP. “I made Pollination with a more mellow sound in mind, while still maintaining a big kick and bass. It’s a track to either kick of the night or maybe to play in an afterparty set.” With a mix of two harder, and one more mellow track, Call to Arms aims to offer “Something for every occasion. That’s what I like in an EP and that’s what I’ve tried to achieve with this record”.
